About Ramin Jazayeri:

Maestro Ramin Jazayeri began his music education with Mohammad Reza Lotfi and became interested in instrument making in 1984. He attended the renowned Chavosh instrument making class and learned the art of instrument making under the guidance of Mahmoud Farhmand.

In addition, he completed his training in instrument making by learning from the late Master Mehdi Kamalian, a master of the three-stringed instrument.
Jazairi is skilled in playing the Setar and Tar in the style of Master Abolhassan Saba and has released an album called “Hadees-e Saba,” a research work on Saba’s style of Setar performance, which includes reinterpretations of some of Abolhassan Saba’s pieces.
He is also involved in writing and critiquing music, including writing articles and reviews and participating in critique sessions related to the traditional music and related instruments.
